Your Body

You don’t know what you don’t know.

Understanding how your body works makes it so much easier to treat it well. This section covers anatomy of the body parts usually involved in sexual activity. Click or tap for more info on each body part. Please keep in mind that illustrations and diagrams of these body parts will follow, and while they are not pornographic, they are not appropriate for everyone.

Vulva – The external sexual parts of a vagina owner.

Clitoris – Its only known function is for sexual arousal, and it has external and internal portions.

Vagina – The opening that vaginal secretions and babies come out of and a penis or sex toy would go into.

Pelvic floor or pubococcygeal (PC) muscles – These muscles lift internal organs and tighten the vagina, anus, and urethra. PC strengthening exercises (Kegels) aren’t just for women!

Prostate – A walnut-sized gland that produces fluid that protects sperm as it travels through the urethra.
